Hi, I am Shane Hepburn, and I recently returned from a life in the South of France; a region where people take time everyday (Siesta) to enjoy their food and coffee with friends and family.
Sadly, when I returned, my hometown had been over-run with sterile multi-national food outlets. There was no love in these large franchises and I felt disillusioned, forced to eat factory-made sandwiches and have my name (order) hollered from across a counter.
The Good Bean has grown from this desire for more than just a cafe; it is an experience for everyone; families (free freckles), to pets (dog bowls), coffee connoisseurs (new single origin coffees weekly), to the health conscious (home-made gluten-free cakes).
